My son was up at 3 AM this morning. It's now a bit after 4. I have to leave for work in a little over 3 hours. I'm tired! That is all.

I'm still AT WORK! Been here since before eight this morning and it's now after 1:00am...
I have insomnia, and yet I'm still able to handle each day...no idea how.

I usually handle my day by crashing really badly around 2 or 3 in the afternoon after a lunch shift.
And I don't mean going to sleep. I'm still on my feet. Just... crashing.

Damn, still at work? Ok, that sucks. At least you don't have Little Einsteins playing in the background. Well, I hope not anyway. ;)

I hear the lack of sleep... I went to bed at 1am, woke up at 4am to bring my g/f to the airport, and now I can't sleep. Grrr.

I'm sick (relatively heavy allergies? maybe something approaching bronchitis?) and have an abysmal, terrible homework-doing schedule, so this past day I've only slept a couple hours yesterday eve (around 6:30?) and from maybe 2:30 to maybe 5. I don't even know. I've been keeping near-constant vigilance of the time and I can't even REMEMBER these things. This is bad. Also I still have more than a fair bit of work to do in the next couple hours and figure out when I can go to the doctor when I have five hours straight of classes where half of them have assignments to turn in mid-class. ARGH COLLEGE.

It's sad, but reading that actually made me miss college.
What's wrong with me? :D

I got sleep last night. Of course I missed the site's grand opening, and I was still super tired when my alarm went off, but I got some sleep.
Morning coffee ftw.

If it makes you feel better, I stayed up until 3:30a messing around with the new site and talking to people, and had to get up at 7:30a for work! \o/

I feel tired, but I don't think I actually am...
I've just had two weeks off work and I'm now getting back into the routine of getting up early again. I think my body is just protesting since it's gotten into lazy bastard mode over the last couple of weeks.

Man I feel for you Gorvi. I wish I could say things will improve, but as I've learned I sleep less as my daughter is getting older. *laughs* Hope you find the time to slip in a nap.
(post)Paddington the Bear.
And sorry to hear about the early rising. Can't you just, I dunno, farm gil or something? Either that or teach the kid how to do it so your waking up isn't without reward? Get your Scholar or your BST or whatever you're working on now some new swag via the offspring and your kid learns the value or a hard day's work.

If everyone on CoG that has kids taught their kid(s) to farm gold... we could have a very lucrative business set up on the side. ;) Virtual sweatshops! LOL

It's absolutely the perfect business model. We need a breeding sub-form me-thinks.

It's starting to settle down, but between me being up till 2am, my daughter waking up at 3am for some sort of hissyfit and then my son waking up at the crack of 6... well, suffice it to say, I am often very tired.
But I feel your yawn.

I don't know what's wrong with you, but I can't wait to be finished college. I'm on campus ridiculously early because Santa has a class at 9 and my class doesn't start until 1:20 but it is cheaper to come together because of gas prices and such. Also I have a sinus infection so I totally feel for Lint of Death

That, and this was one of those "Oh, hey, you took off your diaper!" mornings.
Taking care of babies is never fun. The screaming while trying to get them to sleep.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love taking care of them. It's great. This morning at 3 AM though was just.... tiring. The good thing is I got to spend a good 4 hours with him before heading off to work where as I normally only get to see him for an hour before and maybe an hour and a half after work.

It's a nice trade off to.
Oh and before anyone says wtf iHap, I take care of my nephew because my sister is a Nurse, her husband is a Paramedic so some days they are both at work.

I watched Iron Man instead of sleeping. I think the theme of this semester is "No Sleep", as I have two night classes where the instructors enforce the time, and for some reason, I haven't been able to fall asleep for the past 2 weeks until like 2 am.
My sleep schedule got screwed at PAX, I think I averaged 4 hours, if that.

My sleep pattern is always bad. Always up. I wish I could plug into a socket and get energy and rest that way. Stupid sleep.
Anyways, when Hurricane Ike took my power and got us a city wide curfew. It was nothing to do but come and sleep. PSP don't last that long. I found out how grand being a morning person could be. Getting donuts while they're warm without microwaving. Eating breakfast period in the morning. I normally only eat breakfast for lunch or dinner. Felt the urge to go work out. I think that was the no TV or games talking though. But once you got up and work doesn't start until 3pm, it wasn't nothing else to do. But now that I have the freedom to stay up, I can't go back. New website won't help. :(
