Okay, Not sure if there is a thread here on how you surf Colony of Gamers but here is my current and usual position. I usually sit on a a couch and I have my 1080p to my right and my daughter is laying down with her feet on me from the right. The latest addition to the house (Chloe the Dachshund) is sitting on my lap between me and the pillow with my Macbook Pro on top of it. Behind me my giant cat is laying part of his massive body on my shoulders and is sleeping. I basically can't move as I will end up disturbing the three of them. This is our usual position at this time of night. My lucky wife is on her forums tapping away all by herself on her own laptop..

I am often lounging on the couch, or reclining in bed. My boyfriend is often on the couch to my right with his laptop, and my roommates sit on the recliner to my left and to my left on this couch. When we're all hanging out in the living room, I'm multitasking because the television will usually be on.

I'm sitting in an uncomfortable chair in my dorm room. My roommate is listening to shitty music and never gets the hint that I want him to use his headphones. By hint I mean I usually say "This music sucks and I don't want to hear it."

Cheap self-assembled chair from Office Max at the room-supplied desk, one leg folded under me. I can't sit with both feet on the floor for any length of time.

I'm sitting on my red Ikea couch naked typing this in. My manhood, cleanly shaven, hangs ever so slightly off the edge of the couch as I also watch Family Guy on my 50" Samsung plasma tv. I too, am multitasking.

If it is during the week, 8:30-6:00 I am either in a desk chair or on a toilet. Any other time I am comfy on my core ball in the corfort of my own home.

I'm sitting in a cheap plastic chair... really cheap like the ones made for gardens and pools.

At the moment, I'm nestled in a high-back leather chair, the accompanying ottoman underneath my feet and my laptop on my lap. Normally I have to forgo such a...relaxed, position, as my main laptop is a good twenty pounds and has to sit on a small table (like the TV dinner ones) in front of me; I almost always have the luxury of the chair, though. :)

Browsing CoG on my 22 inch westinghouse monitor with a 17 inch monitor next to it, reclining back in a chair that doesnt recline, with my legs propped up on the side of my 6 foot bookshelf. To the left of my monitor is a Jim Lee poster of Batman and Robin, and to the left is a poster of Agent Smith, on red walls. Next to that bookshelf, to the left, is a dvd rack with a Lego X-wing starfighter on it, with a Batman and Tim Drake Robin standing on the same shelf. I always hit the s-foils with my foot and knock the figures down, or the laser cannons off, or both, and have to hunt for the Lego pieces. To the right is another bookshelf with various books and collectible on it, with a birdcage on top, immediately left of that is my mini fridge with a printer on it, and to the immediate left of that is my dresser with my turtle tank on it. Thats not even counting my bed, nightstand, and the headboard-converted to bookshelf that runs along that wall/length of my bed. This room is so cramped, I dream of a nice big room with space.

On the other hand, you'll apparently live a very long life (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1075289/No-sex-secret-long-life-says-105-year-old-Clara-Britains-oldest-virgin.html?ITO=1490). ;)

sitting at a desk in an office chair...usually in a reclining position with my feet propped up on the edge of the desk...its a good position because it prevents me from having to shift position when my shitty ass 6 year old computer decides to crash on me and i have to power it off from the tower (which happens early and often)...i keep holding off on buying a new computer...i'm thinking enough is enough...i might be buying myself an early christmas present soon.

I'm sitting at my desk, in front of my PC. I sit Indian style in my leather office chair. To my immediate right is a TV tray with a snack on it (townhouse crackers and a jar of Nutella), and sitting on a coaster on the desk is a bottle of water. Further to my right and forward (against the wall) is my HDTV (a CRT, 1080i), along with all of my consoles. Normally the dinner tray lay folded and against the wall to my left, while a small Ottoman matching a previous chair I owned takes it's place. I sometimes prop my feet up on the ottoman while more concerned with the television or games than with my PC.
Across the top of my desk is a line of Transformers Animated figures, and a small Lego ExoForce kit, along with what I carry in my pocket while out: my keys which are attached to a thumb drive, a case knife, a comb, and my wallet. Assorted junk lay about, such as game controllers, a flash light, a bottle of Ibuprofen, and a canister of crushed red pepper. Atop the TV are 12-inch figures of Evil Vampire Willow and Vampire Spike, flanking two Big Daddies, who in turn flank a figure of The Maxx. Just in front of that line are mini-figs of Saber and the main protagonist from Fate/Stay Night, and between them, a White Iz accompanying The Maxx.
On occasion, when I really want to get into a game or movie, I will sit in my SUMO Omni near by, positioned as the best chair for my surround sound setup. I'll post from there using my laptop, which often sits on the ottoman utop a small plastic tray designed to keep the air flow going from the bottom fan while on soft surfaces. When posting, I have it sitting in my lap.

Generally at work.. sitting in an extremely uncomfortable chair about 12" too short for my desk, and my position changes every 30 seconds, trying to get comfortable =/
At home, its in my big high back "fake leather" chair that is pretty comfy.

I typically sit at my desk in a standard office leather chair. Since I work from home, I'm practically always here as my TV is kept by the wife for watching movies / tv.

If I'm downstairs at the desktop I am in the computer chair sitting indian style with a cat on my lap. If I'm in the attic I'm on the futon with santa to my right, a cat to my left, a cat on my lap and a cat or two on santa.

In a leather chair I stole from the barracks when I moved out. It had been abandoned by a deployer, so I took it under my wing (or more accurately, my ass). I'm fairly certain that guy found it in a dumpster though.

On one of the delicious RPI desk chairs (designed to lean back and stay that way!), left leg tucked under my butt and right leg on the seat (right knee tucked into right armpit); left elbow on the desk and left fist in my cheek. My right arm is free for mouse use and down-arrows as necessary. When typing, I lower my left hand to the keyboard and sit back a little.
Other times, it's both feet on the ground pushing off to keep the chair in its delicious leaned back state, and I'm, uh, all leaned back and shit.
