...because my wife harrassed me into it. I don't like rhythm games as a general rule.
Now, I'm not totally hating it thanks to the drum set, although I'm irritated with the amount of *space* the crap takes up.
What I'm looking for from y'all is some advice on where to go for extra content. Like is there some code I should obtain on XBLive to get a bunch of free songs, or what?
Thanks.

Um...what?
Rent RB1 and export the songs for $5. Other than that, you pretty much have buy the DLC (Still Alive was free at one point, though).
If you're talking about the 20 free songs, you need to upload the code in the instruction manual to the RockBand2 website and wait until they mail out the codes for everyone.

Get everything that is free, Still Alive being the cream of the crop. I would steer clear of anything you might consider "good music." I found the NiN pack to be very boring to play. If there were GarageBand hero or MacBook revolution, maybe.
I more suggest you find someone around here with RB1 so you can get all of those tunes. Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld alone is worth that.

Still Alive should still be free, there was also some other songs that were free. I would just go through the list I guess. They'll be single songs, so don't bother looking through the albums. There was some songs in an Xbox magazine that were free if you bought the magazine, but it might be hard to get a hold of that, unless someone here still has a copy. Actually I might still have the disc, I'll try to look for it if you want it, I can send it to you.
I play pretty regularly, if you want to add me feel free. My gt is in my sig. I can maybe help ya get some of the songs unlocked or something. I play either guitar or drums.

They need to make a DLC compilation disc. I don't know how they think its cool to pay $59 for ~84 songs (~.70 a song) and then think that $1.99 is a deal. Additionally, I'd like the right to resell my property.
