Will swords be enough to kill a horde of Zombies? you'de have to be crazy to try it.

It makes for some interesting merchandise, but you can be damn sure I will not be within arm's reach of the zombies when the outbreak does occur.

Buying pre-dirtied swords, to me, is like buying those jeans with the holes already in them.

Where's that chainsaw on a stick when you need it, eh?

Despite having not confirmed whether your wardrobe is devoid of pre-ripped jeans or not, I'm going to assume you mean stupid.

Chainsaw? Nah... not enough bullets!

I'm pretty sure you can request without that white paint splatter when you go buy one.

Butch women seem to go hand in hand with strange clothes and melee weapons.

I dunno, for me it would depend on the density of the horde, and the type of zombie. I mean, if we're talking something along the original Night of the Living Dead, I would fuck their shit up with a sword like that. They were slow, and spread out. Now if we're talking a Dawn of the Dead remake situation: Fuck swords. Guns and barricades are where it's at, in that case. Having a good melee weapon around wouldn't be a terrible idea, still.

If a Zombie break out occured I would rather be in Russia where they have piles of AK's sitting around collecting dust. Or to Germany and pick myself up a MG42 :)

I am under the impression that these are meant to be a back-up method of zombie defense, in case you run out of bullets. And unless you're a crack shot sitting on top of a munitions dump, sooner or later you'll run out of bullets.

I can stroll into a sporting goods store and pick up a machete, a wood axe and a bowie knife.

Here's a quote from Zombie Tool website:

Why don’t I just buy a cheap machete from website X?
If you’d rather have something mass-produced without love by exploited Chinese grandmothers, have at it. But be warned, it might come back to bite you (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmRUaxq-QhU).

So, by all mean, go on ahead and buy those made in china goodies. I'll stick to good old fashion American quality goods. ;)

I do not think that Smith and Wesson make their cuttlery in China.

Yeah but Walmart only has Meyerco on their website.

I wanted to make a joke out of this but they do it on their own:

Model No.: MCMACH22
Shipping Weight (in pounds): 2.4
Product in Inches (L x W x H): 28.0 x 3.5 x 1.5
Assembled in Country of Origin: USA and/or Imported
Origin of Components: USA and/or Imported

So all their machetes are assembled in America... or someplace else and imported. The components are American... or from someplace else and imported.

Well no kidding. I find that everything I own is either made in America or someplace else and made from components that are either American or foreign. I assume it means they have some US made goods, but not all of them are and its a crap shoot if you get one made in the USA or in China/Mexico depending on the lot you get (though since its Walmart I'm assuming you're probably getting a Chinese one).

Wow, those blades are nice. It's hard to find battle-ready full tang weapons these days. The prices are pretty good too for what you're getting.
