It's nice that the salon was willing to hire her, considering her hideously-proportioned arms and hands. I imagine her customers nervously trying to stifle their curiosity, not wanting to offend. Mortified when their kids ask, "Mommy, what's wrong with that lady's hands?" Though she probably gets tipped double when that happens.

Y'know, it says something that I don't even notice shit like that anymore unless someone points it out to me. I've been reading too many damn comics & graphic novels lately.

On the release list, THANK GOD it appears to be slowing down.

Interestingly she seems to have two right arms and two left hands.

I guess it kind of balances out.

Because it has Ninja Assassin's in it?

I would even watch Oprah if it featured Ninja Assassin's,

No apostrophe in Ninja Assassins.

And I find it interesting that they're releasing Rogue Trooper on the Wii. Great game on the PS2, now on the Wii with more waggle!

I'm still not sure if I really want to see that movie or want to avoid it entirely. I mean, I love stop-motion animation but there's something about the way it's done here that just... I don't know. I assume they meant for it to be kind of herky-jerky and not as smooth as, say, Nightmare Before Christmas or Coraline. But ah...

Go see it and tell me how awesome it is :)

It's actually not too bad.

December has the Saboteur
January has Army of Two
February has Lost Planet 2

There's probably others, that's just off the top of my head.

Yeah, you missed small things like:

Mass Effect 2
BioShock 2
Darksiders
Bayonetta
Dark Void
Dante's Inferno
Splinter Cell: Conviction
God of War III
FF XIII
BF: Bad Company 2

All before the end of March.

God, every part of me just clenched and convulsed when I read that. Nicely done.

I'm glad for this respite from releases. Between ACII, MW2, DA:O and soon L4D2, this was a pricy goddamn month.

On the upshot, now I have time to play Phantasy Star 0.

I feel the same way, but I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'm only getting 3 of those. The good thing is, next Fall when everyone is buying up the big new releases I'll be able to pick up the rest of those 1st Quarter games for next to nothing.

Roald Dahl was my one of my favorite authors as a child, Wes Anderson is among my favorite filmmakers as an adult, and to top it off I have a total boner for stop-motion animation. The planets are aligned.

This is true, though I think Bayonetta is going to make me her bitch and I'll have to pick it up (loved the demo!). Bioshock is just a given. Darksiders is a maybe, the concept is great but I have seen next to nothing outside of pre-rendered cinematics.

I think we should start a pool to bet on how many of those games Spigot buys. :p

I'm going to go with 5. ;)

January, February, and March are freaking brutal:

January:
Bayonetta
Dark Void
Darksiders
MAG
Mass Effect 2
February:
Bioshock 2
Dante's Inferno
Heavy Rain
Lost Planet 2
Splinter Cell: Conviction
White Knight Chronicles
March:
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Final Fantasy XIII
God of War III
Gran Turismo 5

You missed Divinity II in January, and Split/Second in March!!! Otherwise, great list! I'll eventually want all of these except MAG and GT5.

Actually, I think I only put 4. Heavy Rain and FFXIII are must-haves for me with WKC appealing to my Level 5 fandom and Mass Effect 2 also coming early enough to satisfy my needs.

I'm going to rent God Of War 3 because I made a vow after playing through Chains Of Olympus to never buy a God Of War game for full price ever again. I know I'll be able to tear through that game in a week and so I shall rent it!

Good catch, though that really depends if they can deliver on Divinity II. Beyond Divinity was disappointing.

With my low resolve I think I can wait it out. Bad Company 2 might be the only one I'll need to get. Online play looks awesome.

I'm going to ninja vanish on Thanksgiving dinner to go to the movies. ^_^

I have yet to play through either Divine Divinity or Beyond Divinity, so I'll wait for Divinity 2 until I've had a chance to at least get through the first one. I really liked it but just never got incredibly far in it for whatever reason.

Gorvi's right...with all the delays, winter is looking mighty fine this year.

The only one I want immediately on that list is God of War 3, though. I've been waiting for that game since the moment I finished God of War 2.

Well to be fair, Divine Divinity was HUGE. It really was amazing everything they packed into it, and I'm not even sure I saw everything, and I was playing that game for over a month I think.

And it is! Warlock Of Firetop Mountain, to be exact. Oh man oh man oh man...

If you get it, let us know how it is. The game description tells me nothing but I loved the Fighting Fantasy books back in the day.

Divine Divinity is a great RPG. You really need to go back and play through it.

I will certainly let you all know how it is if I can afford to pick it up. It looks freaking cool, I hope it turned out good...

Anyone seen Ninja Assassin yet? I'm hyped.

Also hyped about Fighting Fantasy aka "Oblivion on DS"

Also hyped about Fighting Fantasy aka "Oblivion on DS"Which would make it pretty much the OPPOSITE of the books it's based on :)

Ninja Assassin looks pretty cool, me and a friend may be checking it out this afternoon.

As for Fighting Fantasy I think I might go try to pick it up tomorrow if I can afford it. Early reviews (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ds/fightingfantasythewarlockoffiretopmountain) are not kind, but I am hoping these are just the lower end of the spectrum. I usually don't pay much mind to reviews, but when they are bad across the board it is usually for a reason.
