Once again I call on the experts of CoG for help!

The term project for one of my classes is to create and manage a charity event with some of my classmates. My group has decided to hold a 5 on 5 basketball tournament and donate the funds to the NorthWest Down Syndrome Association (http://www.nwdsa.org/). For whatever reason, our biggest issue has been finding a good name for the charity. So, if you guys and gals think of a name that may suit this charity, please reply with it. :) If not, we might have to settle with the name that my group wants: Down for Hoops. Maybe I am crazy, but that sounds a little offensive.

If we end up using one of the names listed here, that person will receive 1,000 Awesome Points.

We are actually in need of some volunteers to help with the event. November 15th and 16th is what we have planned now, but it may be moved to the 22nd and 23rd depending on how fast we secure a location(s).

I will definitely keep you informed if you happen to be free any of those days. :)

How about "Helping Hoopsters." "Hoosiers for Hope." "Shoot for the Stars." "Down but not Out."

In fact, I really like that last one. A lot.

In fact, I really like that last one. A lot.Haha. Dunkin' Down Nuts is priceless. :) Shoot for The Stars stood out in my mind. If I saw it on a poster or heard the name, I would want to know what it is about.

I really appreciate all the help guys. Ill submit these names to the group and see what they have to say.

Right now, I am free for both of those dates. I can't make any commitments now, but I would love to come help you out. If you still need people in a week or two, send me a PM, and I'm sure I can find a way to help you out.
