A couple weeks ago, we started a thread (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=12884) collecting questions for the Immortal Machines Podcast crew to ask in our upcoming interview with Runic, developers of the action RPG Torchlight (which comes out tomorrow!). I'm thrilled to say you guys held up your end of the bargain and chimed in with some great questions, so it's time for us to hold up our end. We promised fabulous prizes, and prizes you shall have!

It was our hope to record the prize drawing and tack it on to the end of the interview podcast episode, but unfortunately due to crunch time constraints Runic had to delay the recording until this Wednesday. Since the game will already be out at that point, we didn't want to postpone getting it into the hands of our winners, so MagGnome performed some sort of arcane ritual this weekend to select the winners, and notified me of the results.

The recipients of free copies of Torchlight are....... BigJonno and Callador!

PM's will be sent out to both of you, and you'll need to let us know whether you want the game via Steam or direct from Runic. If you want it through Steam, all we'll need is your Steam account name and we can gift it directly - if through Runic, we'll have to wait and see tomorrow what the available routes for getting it to you are. :)

Congratulations to our winners! And keep your eyes peeled for the interview podcast where we'll do our best to ask all your questions; we hope to have it out by the end of the week. :D

What's the only thing better than gaming goodness? Free gaming goodness!
I'm really looking forward to playing some Torchlight and listening to the podcast where they answer all our burning questions!
Thanks guys!

Congrats to both of you! Now, you're obligated to get to the last level of the game.

(Hint - Good luck!)

Yay! This is absolutely awesome. I've literally never won anything like this in my life, so I'm stupendously excited right now.

Thanks very much for the competition. I can't wait to start playing!

P.S.: Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that Mags fixed it because he thinks I'm hawt. Oh, crap. ;)

Having spent some hours with Torchlight this weekend, I've written a few words about it over here (http://www.erraticgamer.com), which you're welcome to go read. ;)

If you'd like the opinion of someone with a little more cachet (and believe me, I understand :p), Bill Harris also really, really loves it (http://dubiousquality.blogspot.com/2009/10/most-excellent-surprise.html).

I really hope it does very well.

While I can assure everyone that the contest wasn't rigged, I was absolutely tickled pink* when your name came up as one of the winners. :D

*Don't ask me what that means.

Congratulations to both of you!

I scored the day off from work tomorrow, so I'm hoping that this goes up sometime before I get up in the morning, as I would really like to spend a good portion of the day playing it. Otherwise I'll have to wait a few days, so let's all cross our fingers that the game gets posted early. ;)

But really, grats!
