My Idea:
They were talking about a Tom Clancy air combat game a few months ago... My guess is this is it.

Interesting thought:
Wouldn't it be cool (albeit expensive) if all the upcoming Clancy games centered around the same story and used some type of functionality where they all were related via online.

Demo:
Sam Fisher infiltrates an organization and uploads there data to "the network." Said data is used to access files and info on aerial targets (via air combat game). 'Air Combat game players bomb enemy location which allows the Ghost team to advance. Ghost team calls for support via End War players.

When all is done rabbids come and chase off your enemies with plungers

Back from the EvAv days...

Their Idea: Ubisoft looking to merge the Tom Clancy range into one epic experience
(http://www.gameplayer.com.au/gp_documents/Tom-Clancy-Megagame.aspx?Page=1)

So here is the exciting news. The plan over at Ubisoft is to use EndWar to facilitate a future Tom Clancy MegaGame that allows each of the five titles to behave as one giant experience. We’ll get into the analysis shortly, but first we’ll give you a transcript of how the conversation went down…

They've got everything in there except for the rabbids...

That's pretty cool. You should be in game development (on the idea/script/planning side!).

I thought that was what EndWar is?

Hate to rain on the parade, but I also thought this was always the idea.

Stop your hating! I need a lawyer stat! We need to do a background check to see if any spys from Ubi frequent our forums.

(Good work on keeping my homeland quiet.)

Also, yeah, I recall you thinking this up back some time ago actually. ;)

You don't have to be crazy. But really, you had ideas for other people's property? I don't think there is any legal ground for you to stand on. It's like saying I think Batman should finally kill the Joker, and then DC does a book about it. I'm sure several comic writers have thought the same thing. It always seemed like a common sense thing for Ubi to do. I mean after that shitty story from Vegas 2, anything would have been better. Hell, all of the teams working together should have led into this EndWar game. I'm not hating, just pointing out ideas are up for grabs, and if it's about something someone else already owns, tough luck.

There are several cases of similar ideas being thought up at the same time.

I once had an idea for EA to combine Medal of Honor with Need for Speed to make a James Bond game, they did. It sucked.

So.. World of Tom?

This had been the "plan" with Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Ghost Recon 2, where SC took place 6 months before GR2. Never got to play GR2, so I don't know how well it panned out.
