Kojima has plans to make the extremely fan requested sequel to a very popular game series Zone of the Enders.

"The production lines within Kojima Productions are currently full," Hideo Kojima writes on the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker blog. The candid comments, translated by Andriasang, spring from the designer's recently expressed desire to return to the Zone of the Enders universe -- someday. Clogged by large, anticipated titles like the aforementioned Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the Kojima Productions pipeline doesn't have the room to support the fan-requested sequel. But there's plenty of room in the revered designer's head.
I know it hasn't technically been announced but OMG i cant wait even now.

Whoa there, tiger. They've said a few times that they wanted to make a third ZOE, but that it was financially unfeasible based on the sales of the second versus the budget necessary for a next-gen ZOE up to Kojima Productions' standards. I don't think that's changed.

How about re-releasing ZOE 2 to the masses to gauge the opinion of the masses? Plus I can finally grab it and not pay something outrageous for it.

I'd love to see a third but first I need to finish the second. I should add it to the list of PS2 games to work on over the winter. I'm a ways into it but after all these years I STILL haven't finished it. Sigh.

A third game with a HD take on the art style of the second game? Sweet.

I liked the idea of the first 2 games, but while 2 was a massive improvemnet over 1 it still couldn't hold my attention for very long. It just isn't that involving as a game imo apart form the gorgeous looks and story. Maybe the current generation might be abe to get more out of it. PS2 was pretty weak for a full on mech sim.
