This baby (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=32738&vpn=LS24MYKRBQ%2FXAA&manufacture=Samsung&promoid=1084) shall be mine on Saturday!

Mainly because I've been looking for a 24" monitor that pivots to landscape. Yes, I know it's just a TN panel, but a TFT at a similar size goes for much more :(
So, this will become my main monitor and my 22" will be my side one :)
I will enter the Matrix!

That monitor is excellent. Every Samsung LCD is.

Well, I like their tv's, how bad can their monitors be, right?
Just waiting for the "Don't buy that crap because..." to pop in so I can make an educated choice.

Their monitors are excellent. Don't listen to any potential naysayers, that is a good purchase.

I agree. Looks like a solid purchase. Only thing it lacks is HDMI, but if that isn't a concern you should be good to go.
Samsung make pretty good monitors, although I've been told by an artist I used to work for that they aren't great for working with very intricate artwork. But that's just one opinion, and he swapped out to a different brand so it might have been a single bad one.

Yah, not a concern. I was actually looking at an HP monitor, but didn't like that it had one HDMI and one VGA port instead of the DVI port. Most likely not going to be using this for my PS3 or 360, so not an issue.

I have 2 Samsung 2493HM monitors and love them. Sure there are the obvious limitations from it being a TN panel, but I don't do heavy graphics work or anything, and they make awesome gaming monitors. Super fast, no lag or ghosting, and the 2493's have HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs, so I'm using one for the PS3 over HDMI, and will also be using one for a second HDTV. Great stand with them too!
Only slight complaint I have is there is some backlight bleed around the sides, but only really noticable when displaying a black background, in gaming use or web surfing it's fine, so nothing worth taking them back over. No dead pixels is more important to me and both mine are perfect screens.
If you don't need perfect color for graphics they are pretty sweet.

I got a Dell SP2208WFP 22" for just over $300 and I'm thrilled with it. 2 ms for gaming is great.

I've got a Samsung 245BW I picked up a few months ago. Yeah, it's a TN panel, but it looks fucking fantastic and works perfect with games. I've been playing Stalker: Clear Sky, WoW and Warhammer on it and it looks great. I love this monitor and wouldn't hesitate to buy another Samsung.

I have the same monitor and I can't help but agree with what you have said. I enjoy using it not only for gaming on the PC, but using it for the PS3 as well.
