I prefer Firehouse subs...except the one that I usually go to has been rated B for a while.

To be fair, those are from a number of months.

But my goodness, did they spam the hell out of you in September.

What the hell, Sandman? Dominos Pizza? That shit is weak. Surely, there's a good local joint in your town that delivers?

I like how they try to trick you by changing up the subject line every now and then.. that's crafty.

Kinda reminds me of this for some reason:

I think it would have been more effective for them to have sent one message that read "EAT OUR FUCKING SANDWICH."

Yeah, you'd think that wouldn't you. The amount of spam for the sandwiches actually increased after I got a couple.

Most of them have been good, but there was one batch that was bad and we almost swore them off. For $4.99 they are a pretty good deal.

Certainly these aren't primo Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches or anything, so keep that in mind.

I've only had the Chicken Bacon Ranch, but put some Sirracha on it and its quite tasty.

Of course, if you order them as much as I did you get sick of them quick. My car was out of commission a while back. You know things are bad when you are suddenly on a first name basis with the delivery guy.

I used to eat cheesesteaks from Shannon's in Millville, NJ. My father and his four brothers were raised on them. Ever since Mrs. Shannon died and her sub shop changed hands, I've searched for the cheesesteak that would equal it...with no success!

I've since given up on finding a real Philly cheesesteak. Today's versions are just imposters!

A real Philly cheesesteak from New Jersey? Blasphemy.

(i'm actually from Medford, which is even closer to Philly)

I can make a pretty mean Philly, and I have never even been to PA. I like to call them Michigan Cheesesteaks.

Shannon's is still decent, Holly City Cold Cuts & Deli has a decent cheesesteak too

Holy shit, you know Shannon's! :p

My father grew up two houses down from Mrs. Shannon's house (where the first sub shop was attached to) and we used to order subs there daily and get our $.05 Bazooka Joe bubble gum. Good memories.

My dad, who I work with, just told me he'd pay you to UPS us some Shannon subs. :D

I noticed that too. It was like after bothering him enough he wanted to see what the fuss was about. :D

Get your ass in the kitchen and make one.
But for real, we have on of those inside grills and we do steak up all to often. I haven't jumped on anything yet but I'm itching to make one of those with my own spin. The other day I was thinking about making a steak hot dog. O_o

I fuckin love Dominos thin crust, so flaky and crunchy.

Their sandwiches are...eh, they pass. Nothing i'd ever crave for.

I always wished Dominos would bring back the hoagies they used to sell. Though knowing my luck they probably wouldn't even carry them down here as they seemed to be a regional thing before they were discontinued. I learned that hard way in Murfreesboro.

These guys are persistent. Just like a whining kid or a begging dog, it's important that you now train them by ignoring them until they stop their unacceptable behavior.

Also, my wife and I never order any pizza except Papa Murphy's. The absolutely retarded prices that pizza has hit around here....ack. If you think I'm paying $20 +tip for ONE meal with me a couple buddies, you can think again. At least, if that meal is pizza. $20 gets me a lot more someplace else.

Papa Murphy's is so excellent! I love getting any of their stuffed pizzas. Unfortunately, a lot of them seem to be going out of business - I guess in the smallish cities I'm looking at there's just not enough demand/interest in baking something yourself :(

My wife and I have only been married 7 years, but in that time the price of pizza seems to have outpaced other stuff. Our Papa Murhpy's here is great (there are a couple but we only go to the closest one).

There is an absolutely awesome local pizzaria but it doesn't deliver, it's a dine-in place. And there is a delivery place that makes great pizza, but I got tired of waiting TWO FUCKING HOURS for its stoned-out-of-their-mind 45 year old dredlocked hippy drivers to find our old condo, which was 100 feet off one of the biggest streets in town.

We still have Pizza Pipeline, which, as they proudly say, is the home of the 18" Monster. I personally would not have put "HOME OF THE 18" MONSTER!" on all my advertising for a pizza business, but that's just me. Their pizza is decent and not too bad, but we live so far on the south edge of town that they didn't deliver to us last time we tried.

It gets messy and the pickles and mustard can sting a little, but its doable.

I order from Domino's, Pizza Hut AND Papa John's online (none of the mom and pop shops are close enough to deliver to our place, which is a God damn shame), and I don't get spam like that. I just chose not to receive e-mails when I signed up... for everyone but Pizza Hut. And then I opted out of the Pizza Hut one easily enough. (All of their e-mails were already being delivered to my Spam box anyhow.)
