I didn't see the thread existing..

Best Buy has a demo unit of it. I tried it.. I thought it was kind of shitty. The DJ pad felt and looked odd, was uncomfortable to use.

Visuals were kinda... crappy.

The songs were okay, but I thought some of the stuff being mashed with Daft Punk sucked.

I just don't get the game, as it feels like it should be a bit more freeform than Guitar Hero as being a DJ is about taking existing art, and making something new out of it... but the game was just another GH game.

My brother is interested in getting it. I'd never pay that kind of money for a gaming peripheral especially for something that only works with one game. I do like the music though.

Is this coming from someone who's already used to a turn table? Would it be less odd for someone who's got no experience?

I'm actually kind of interested in this. I don't think it will have the replayablity of GH or RB, but I'm more or less looking for something I can play, have fun, then sell.

I've never DJ'ed but I have played with a turntable, it feels a bit different.

I am going to say the game feels slightly embarrassing now.
Somewhere when the grappling hook gun and the Trucker show up, I realize the game is kind of going to suck.. even if somehow the entire game is Daft Punk.

This game looks more and more like a pass for me. I just can't wrap my brain around it. And I'm just getting more and more tired of music games.

The previews all over the place are very positive. maybe it just takes getting used too.

I would prefer this over guitarhero anyday due to the music alone, but like someone else said. I don't buy plastic periphal crap attached to a game games.
