This Editor In Chief will be responsible for leading, developing, and directing all editorial functions of a publication. This includes strategic planning, P&L management, editorial direction, content acquisition, selection, and preparation; management of a staff of editors and art staff; budgeting; working with centralized design, production and circulation staff among other internal service departments; developing relationships with thought leaders in the industry, attending conferences, editing of regular departments; and providing direction in developing innovative editorial for supplements, pod-casts, and video-casts. The Editor in Chief will have overall responsibility for ensuring effective and timely delivery of a high-quality publication and for overseeing the editorial process to ensure that all aspects of content production work effectively.
What we Require:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• senior-level experience in editorial development and staff management in the electronic entertainment industry
• journalistic experience covering the gaming industry
