Double Fine Brutal Legend Dem-o-thon Live Webcast Next Thursday

Double Fine and EA have sent out a promo for a Double Fine Dem-o-thon live webcast for Brutal Legend next Thursday, Rocktober 1st at noon PT.

In the promo, Tim Schafer has an IM conversation with Ormagoden where he demands that there be 666 million downloads of the demo coming to Xbox Silver and PSN on Rocktober 1st or he will give the Swine Flu to everyone. Schafer of course tells him there aren't 666 million consoles in the world, but Ormagoden will have none of that. Here's the video:

The live webcast will supposedly happen on the Brutal Legend website (http://www.brutallegend.com) and will include Developer Antics and Interviews, Twitter Q&A (http://twitter.com/brutallegend), Awesome Giveaways and a message from Tim's Swine Flu Bunker.

Brutal Legend comes out on Rocktober 13th for 360 and PS3.

My biggest issue with the game is the somewhat 'Meh' soundtrack; which I hope doesn't ruin the game for me. There are a lot of stellar artists on the list, but many of them suck, a la:

Children of Bodom
Dragon Force
Girlschool
Cloven Hoof
cradle of Filth
Ostrogoth
Dimmu Borgir
etc.
