I always knew Wolf was an idiot, but finally here's some proof (http://popwatch.ew.com/2009/09/18/adventures-in-celebrity-jeopardy-what-is-get-a-clue-wolf-blizter/):

Man, he looked so pissed. I guess that's what happens when you don't have someone writing your answers down for you or whispering them in your earpiece.

Ouch that was painful.

Ouch indeed. Getting the "pity $1000" right before Final Jeopardy couldn't have been a proud moment.

Where are your holograms now, Wolf?
Good god, he had his ass handed to him by Andy Richter.

While I agree that Wolf is an idiot, let's cut him a slack. Like he was gonna beat Andy Richter when there's a food category.

Jesus Christ, they gave him a little league trophy.
"It's okay, Wolfie. You did your best, so you're still a winner!"

That was indeed my favorite moment. Even worse, these were more softball "answers" for the celebrities, and getting $-4600 on even that is... yeah, not something to brag about at all.
I'm actually pretty impressed with Andy... he probably could hold his own on a real Jeopardy game.

I never liked Blitzer. He's emblematic of the know nothing TV news personalities that believe their job is to parrot both sides of the issue rather than independently confirm and report.

I watched this show but didn't realize there was a thread dedicated to it. No one should be surprised Andy Richter cleaned house, but you'd expect someone whose job it is literally know and share shit that's going on in the world would have the upper hand in a softball trivia contest.
I loved watching Wolf squirm for the entire 30 minutes. Didn't feel bad for him no matter how abject the situation was and how forlorn he looked. Celebrities always get a category tailored for them, and Wolf was still helpless.
Even the charity Wolf represented ought to be embarrassed and dismayed.
Anyone catch what happened in tonight's game?

That video had two Jeopardy firsts for me. One, I've never someone do so poorly before, and two, I've never seen someone hold the signal button above the podium.

Shrug. I'm not really seeing the big deal. I mean, he came out with a low score, but as I watched it, there was nothing that made me say, "Wow, that guy's an idiot."
I kept waiting for some big flub. In the end, I was thinking, "Oh man, he must miss this Ronald Reagan question. THAT'S what's so funny. But then... no."

Happens fairly often, actually. Multiple times a week, at least.

Well, you have to appreciate that two of the questions he got wrong were in the same category; a category which ran on the gimmick of every correct response having three 'E's in it. His exasperation and frustration boil over when he just blurts out "annotated" (without phrasing it in the form of a question).
I'm saying he should have known the answer to the question. But more than that, you're a complete idiot if you sink deeper and deeper into the hole by ejaculating responses with only one E in them.

I think I see the error in your judgement. There wasn't some big flub. He was being an idiot pretty much the whole time.
As already pointed out, when it's his goddamn job to report on the news, you'd think he'd at least not end up with a negative number, or look like some petulant schoolboy when given a "losers are winners" trophy.
