I don't know why i am going there, but i am in my friends car. We will be there in about 2 hours. What can we do there? And 1 friend is only 20.

There is absolutely nothing to do in Toledo. You can trust me. I live in a state that is constantly confused with Ohio. I'm an expert in this sort of thing.

Continue on to Cleveland? Hang a left and go to Canada?

The only time I went that far north in Ohio was to go to Cleveland and Cedar Point. Other than that nothing interesting happens north of Columbus. Everything cool happens in southwest Ohio.

I can see that. Well, they changed their minds again. Original plan was ann arbor, now adrian? Hmm

Why would you go *to* Toledo? Through Toledo, sure. But it's definitely a stopping point, not a destination.

Maybe they are doing a "visit bad U.S. cities tour".

Toledo Ohio? Why would you go there unless you were just passing through? TK speaks the truth. Hit Cleveland if you want to feel better about your life.

It may be a shitty place, but I'll be darned if it isn't a fun city name to say. Toledo. Toledo.

Sounds like a brand of Tortilla Chips.

I am reminded of Taco Bell's Cheese Chollito. However that's spelled.

In my experience driving across Ohio, Cleveland is a good 200 miles wide so you can't really miss it.

I mean, I feel asleep and I woke up like 2 hours later and was still seeing exits for Cleveland. The interstate system in Ohio must just be a giant toilet bowl into Cleveland.

"I don't know why I am going there" is the best and only excuse for going to Toledo. Stick to the original plan and head to Ann Arbor, at least it's a university town.

And Ann Arbor is all happy after beating Notre Dame today.

And Ann Arbor is all happy after beating Notre Dame today.

It was quite happy, as they changed their minds AGAIN and went back to Ann Arbor. Total time spent doing shit 90 minutes. Time spent driving to do shit, 4 hours after meeting in Ann Arbor.

I personally would not do anything in Toledo unless there is a band playing there that I really like AND isn't playing anywhere closer to me.

Toledo is my last name. That is all.

On the bright side, at least it's not your middle name. Or if it was another city in Ohio. Ohio pretty much exists as the state I drive through to get to interesting places. Toledo, being in Ohio, is therefore LAME.

I'm not convinced that guy even wants to be there. I bet his wife drug him into it.

"Honey, I don't want to protest against the president."
"Y'know what, Frank? I DO ALL THE THINGS YOU WANT TO DO. I WENT TO THAT FUCKING WAR RE-ENACTMENT WITH YOU. I WATCHED THAT STUPID MOVIE. I COOK THOSE TERRIBLE FOODS YOU ENJOY. I LET YOU HAVE SEX WITH MY BUTT! ALL I ASK IS THAT WE DO ONE THING THAT I ENJOY!!"
"Darlene, why are you yell---"
"DO YOU JUST NOT LOVE ME ANYMORE? DO YOU WANT OUT?"
"'FINE. I'LL HOLD THE FUCKING SIGN."

The Toledo family (pronounced To-LEH-do) was a royal family in Spain, so maybe the ToLEEdo here in the U.S. sucks major balls but back home I'm famous! Or so I like to think.

I would have told him to take I-70 and take me with him then, we could have had a mini Ohio meetup ;)

If could have convinced the people I was with to, I would have. And figured out a way to get Hellbug down from Grand Rapids, Drayven too. Have ourselves a Great Lakes CoG thing.

Cleveland: At least We're not Detroit. I guess they've got their new tourism slogan. Last time I was in Cleveland all the revitalization stuff had pretty much started circling the drain. You only went to the flats if you had a death wish and the warrehouse district the were promoting as it's replacement was losing money. I remember Cleveland clinic had bought up a bunch of land around itself and people were building 700k 800k houses right down the street from the clinic. At least people could get mugged in their driveway rather than waiting to get to work at the clinic and dogging muggings in the parking lot.
