So Bandango asked me to put together a piece of first-time impressions of PAX for Immortal Machines and CoG, and I'm more than happy to oblige but I think it would be a little more fun as a team exercise. I'd like to lead a small discussion podcast with folks who were newbies to PAX, talking about what our expectations were, how they were met / exceeded / thwarted, and how we felt about the convention as a whole (perhaps leaving out the whole rampant illness thing, or perhaps not, who knows).
Other CoG'ers who were attending PAX for the first time, would you be interested in joining me for that? If so, shoot me a PM and I'll try to coordinate a time in the near future when we could get together on Skype and record. For manageability I'd need to keep a group discussion somewhat small, but I'll see how many interested participants I get and go from there. If there's a bunch, who knows, maybe I could do a series of really short one-on-one interviews strung together or something. :)
