I'd like to see one in the index page of the CoG forums.

What he said. I don't particularly care for the cluster of metatags floating about in that box, but I DO like a recent post sidebar a la EvAv. It's the way I can keep up on the popular non-news items.

Oh this was going to be a suggestion of mine too. Glad someone beat me to it.

I think someone (I can't remember who right now because I'm ridiculously tired) had a similar request. I think it's in the off-topic forum. Responses generally said that they were probably working on it. :)

Yeah, it's on the front page, but I'd love to see it when I'm browsing the forums, too as I usually "idle" in the News forum. As far as seeing it when you are in an thread, I could go either way.

I always liked that feature at EvAv, since it let me see the hot topics from anywhere in the forum.

Exactly. I don't think this thread (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=479) about Nathan Fillion is getting any attention.

Can't you just click "New Posts"?

That's what I do, though I only tried it out at first because the front page had been down for people with over 25 posts. Then when the front page came back, I'd go to it for the sidebar, and actually found I like the New Posts better.

I was bout to say "Fuck. That. Shit." But that was cause I never tried the New Post button. It's not that bad actually. I'd like both but this might just work out.
