So, I'm trying to hook up these wireless microphones I got to hook up with The Beatles: Rock Band to try my hand at the harmony.
I must be doing something wrong because I can't seem to get the syncing to work. How are you supposed to match the flashing green light when it turns itself off after you hold the power button? I'm trying to time it right, but my 360 doesn't seem to recognize it.
Anyone else ever try these wireless microphones?

Are you pushing the little white buttons on the mics and the 360?
Make sure the 360 and the microphone are both powered up.
Usually you press the sync button on the console, then the sync button on the device.
Do they have internal batteries that need to be charged? If the batteries are dead you won't be able to get them to sync. If you put some batteries in, are you sure they were good? I've pulled some batteries out that I could have sworn were in the "good" bag that turned out to have been used already.

Hold wireless device's sync button. Then hold 360 wireless sync button (for at least 2 seconds). Release both.

I believe you hold the power/sync button till the lights start flashing, then hold the same button down while holding the 360's sync button till you get the a section of light to blink then go solid, confirming that the mic is synced.
I know how hard it is to these things synced up, because the wife and I spent the better part of 15 minutes trying to get them to work. And we had the instruction manual out! Way to make an overly complicated peripheral MS.

I still can't figure out how to turn off my mics without taking the battery out. They just sit there and blink forever.

Tsk, tsk. Nobody reads the manual.
After it's fully charged, hit the power button to turn it on. The lights will flash (on MS' first party mic, I believe the numbers flash up and down). Head to the console and hit the sync button; your ring of light will start going in circles. Then hold the sync button on the mic till the lights flash together; they'll flash in time with the console light which will stop going in circles. Voila, you're done (same goes for wireless pads, btw).
OJG, there's no way to remove the battery on the X360 wireless mic; if you hold the power button down for a few seconds I believe that's how you turn them off.
Edit: By the by, the sync button on the wireless mic is on the inside, next to the number 4. You don't sync with the power button.

Well that explains it. I managed to take care of that after almost giving up. I also didn't realize that it was connected with your controller too.

It's connected to the player slot, actually. I think you can switch what player it's connected to by pressing the sync button once, but that might be wrong. Glad to help. :)

How do you think it gets it's power? Plus when you first get it, you have to put the batteries in. You just twist the mic top and you can get to the battery. I remember trying anything including holding the power button but it never worked for me.

D'oh! You're right, Food! I saw "360 Wireless mic" and thought of the headset, which I think you can still use with the rhythm games. Sorry for the confusion! :o
Are you talking about the Lips mics? I couldn't get them to work in RB2, so I synced them with Lips and switched to the RB2 disc and it still wouldn't work.
EDIT: Harmonix says "Soon" on RB2 compatibility.

Yea, I was talking about the Lips mics. Haven't tried them in RB2 yet and I also saw the update on Joystiq about that patch thankfully.
They seem to work fine in RB: Beatles.
