Game On at PAX 2009:
Fans lucky enough to be at PAX this year will have even more chances to win. We'll be giving away hundreds of prizes, including Core i7 processors daily, for the Intel Game On: Wear it to Win contest. To participate, PAX attendees can visit the Intel booth during regular PAX 2009 show hours to receive a button. If Intel's Prize Patrol spots you wearing or displaying the button during the show, you will be given a game card that can be redeemed at the Intel booth for a prize.
For the inside scoop on where our Prize Patrol will be at throughout the show, follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/intelgameon).
Let the PAX 2009 countdown begin... We'll see you there!

Oh I want one of those new processors.

Thread from PAX forums (http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?p=11363324). No prize winning limit, but don't be a dick and just follow the prize group around.

Intel is also providing the hardware for the BYOC and PC freeplay areas, as well as many of the systems for PC freeplay.

If someone wins an i7 that is not looking to build a new system, I'll buy it :)

They were definitely the provisioner of the hardware for BYOC/PC-freeplay last year as well.

And fun fact about the Intel booth on the show floor: last year there wasn't a single Intel employee actually running the thing. I guess they outsource all those pretty faces.

That apparently happens a lot. At least according to my brother, who was with me when that "Founder of USB" commercial came on, and he blurted out, "Hey, that's not even him!"

Guess they will not be using Alan Wake as their demo game this time around. :) I'd love a nice new I7, for free.

I'll take one for a little cheaper. It is the last piece I need for my new build.

Well I had kind of been poking around last year to see if there was a way I could volunteer for it. I didn't find out until after the show that they weren't blue-badgers, although I wasn't surprised by it either.

The guy that manages my lab's IT infrastructure was working the BYOC/Freeplay area last year, and as long as he continues to I think I have a standing offer to join him. :D

So, I got a PM from a new CoG user called jencry that they won an i7, and would be willing to sell it. I have replied, but was wondering if anyone knew this person? It may not be a deal-breaker if no one does, but I would be more cautious if that is the case.
