I have a nice little Nikon digital cam I'll be bringing for pics, but I also have a Samsung digital camcorder. I'm thinking I might want to bring it just in case we want something taped? I only have a half-hour of space though (4GB card)

That said, I want to do a COG community video after the show this year. My basic idea right now is to make a slideshow with some music in the background and put it up on YouTube. I could splice in short bits of video as well. Has anyone in the COG network done this in years past? I wanna know if there's a resident vid-doc'er in the group. :)

I'm thinking Von's and BSP are my best bets at catching everyone for a photo op?

I have a point and shoot digital camera that will take DVD quality video for as long as the memory card and battery last. I just need to find the charger and probably pick up a second battery.

Not all of the album is photos from PAX though. It's just a gathering of photos from various times I've met other CoGs. Still, the majority are PAX pictures.

I still can't believe there are 206 comments on that Vons group picture!

Anyway, I think having a photographer with a "real" camera is a great idea! Go for it!

I'll probably have two cameras with me.

The S5 I had last year (Yes Kiel, that big mf'n one :D) and the little Olympus I use for work as backup. The Canon takes nice video, and the card's good for 1000 pix before I have to dump to the laptop. The only drag is it suffers in low light, so I have to use the flash a lot. :o

Those are days I'm glad it runs on AA's. :)

If anyone happens to run out of memory card space I can take the card home, dump the files onto a CD or DVD and bring you a fresh memory card the next day. I know most people won't have that problem but if it arises I'll be happy to assist.

It's likely we won't be able to get much of the entire group on video. Shoot some stuff at Von's and BS and then where ever else we happen to meet up, but we'll be fragmented for the most part of the days, with the exception of the mornings when we usually meet up at the Sheraton.

As for pics, though, yeah, we'll have to schedule another group shot.

Honestly, I would've never even noticed how silly that picture is if it hadn't been for bap mentioning it and you being all funny about it whenever we were near each other in crowded rooms, ahaha.

I'm just using my iPhone for pictures and my Flip for video. I don't expect to be taking too many pictures or video and I don't want to drag around too much stuff.

That would have to be done by 8:30am on Saturday or Slippy won't be there. His shift is 9-3 while mine is 3-9. So unless it's done at night there's no way you'll get both of us in the picture.

http://www.paxsite.com/schedule.pdf Page 2, right side of the schedule. Only 6 TT tournaments this year, so I may actually have time to say hi, and you know, sit down and stuff. And Slippy, I tend to show up about 8 AM and stick around until 2 AM. This is what we lovingly call the Black Shift. But my wife is coming this year, so I expect I'll have to take a little more time off than normal to spend time with her.

You are correct sir but I found out the wedding is at noon. I will be back around 4 or 5 PM. I would love to grace all photos with my ugly mug.
