Hey guys, last year we had custom badges for that other website and it would be awesome to do it again. Mightbe has offered to do the design for them, we just need someone who can print them and laminate them. Any takers?

I'd be happy to concede to a more widespread CoG Badge if it comes up. I had only whipped up a little bit for the sake of donut love. :) I had only planned to round out my original order (<25 badges) for laminating at AlphaGraphics, printing them out as 4x6 photos at Costco. If someone else has better resources to do it, 'ave it! :)

My main issue with the bacon badge has been fixed.

But I do agree that we need a more "normal" badge. A large "CoG" C, or the astronaut planting the flag in the PAX logo on one side, full logo and name on the other is what I can offer up as an idea.

I'm all for getting a badge this year. I wasn't around when Justin got all the badges made for everyone else last time, so I felt slightly left out. This year, I'll be one of the cool kids.

I'll note the premise of the gamertag and "Colonist" at the bottom was based on the proportions of last year's PAX badge compared to the EvAv badge. (so that it sticks out below)

... now that this year's PAX badge is literally twice as tall, it kinda goes out the window...

This year, I'll be one of the cool kids.
Surely you know my response to this. :o :D

I absolutely want in on CoG badges. Though the new PAX badges are a lot taller, my other website badge from last year is almost tall enough for my user name to be completely visible when I line them up.

I definitely want a CoG badge. That said, and nothing on you wyeast, I don't want bacon or donuts on the design though.

The original context of that design was intended specifically for the Voodoo orderers because of the virulent bacon hate that was going on in the t-shirt threads. Y'all are more than welcome to come up with your own design instead of just crabbing about it. I merely put out what I had already started to get the ball rolling. :mad: :p :)

I don't need a badge. I'm already wearing an armband instead of a lanyard to prevent my pass from flipping over the entire time. A badge will probably do the same thing.

Plus, the whole bacon thing isn't funny.

Damn. I assumed someone had asked you. The only thing I miss about that other website is being able to proudly wear my badge.

I'll pay for expedited shipping if you can make them in time. I even know people who live in Seattle who could receive such a package and deliver it downtown.

Unfortunately, I've no time. This upcoming week is all work, my mom gets married this coming weekend, and then we move the day we get back from the wedding. o_O

However... if we wanted a general CoG badge made that could be worn to *any* convention, I could maybe whip something like that up sometime in the future.

Someone simply tell me what resolution they'd like it at and I can do the 3D cog without pax logo pretty damn easily.
