Apparently it will soon be official. (http://www.wral.com/news/local/politics/story/5791651/)

Raleigh, N.C. — Sources have told WRAL News that they expect former U.S. Sen. John Edwards to admit that he is the father of his former mistress' 18-month-old daughter.

I just never saw that coming (is plum really necessary?). I hope he stands by her just like he stood by his cancer-stricken wife.

Whew, I was worried this thread was about your vasectomy not working, Johan. Regarding Senator Edwards, I don't know what to think.

Edit: I do wonder the point of finally admitting to things to the public a long time later. It seems like it would make more sense to either not say anything, or come out with everything at once. I'm just musing, though.

Well...I'm holding some things 'closer to the vest' so-to-speak. I thought it was a funny title, that's all.

I feel a twinge of empathy for Edwards (just a twinge), because he was a politician who advocated for the everyday person. :(

I don't, cheaters should get castrated.

That said, divorces should be easier too....

Would be a good way to end humanity. Cheaters are the only one's making babies it seems!

Haha, it sounds like you're saying the children of cheaters are inferior (albeit more plentiful) than the children of faithful spouses. I can vouch from personal experience that cheaters tend to breed very effectively, but I'm dubious their offspring are thereby substandard!
