View Full Version : Argh! Why did my friend have to get married during PAX weekend?!

So a couple weeks ago I found out a friend of mine is getting married on Sept. 5th. So it looks like the wedding is at noon. I figure I can be at PAX by 4 or 5 PM on Saturday. Damn, I'm glad I got a 3 day pass this year. This is going to be a hassle! And no, there is no way he is getting married at PAX. This is a minor issue but I had to vent a little.

Thank you for listening.

Sounds like you need to be choosier about your friends.

Yes!

Or at least not during PAX!

Yeah, I also have a wedding to go to the weekend before that. The difference between Civil and myself is I actually live in Seattle so this will only take a few hours out of PAX instead the entire weekend. I'll still be there Friday, the early and late part of Sat and all of Sunday.

Or, don't have friends that get married at dumb times/places...

I should do that too...

Whatever, my wedding was awesome. Awesomely hot, but awesome none-the-less.

Hey I didn't say I was talking about you. Guilty conscious?

No, you just never let me forget. I've become accustomed to your complaining LOL!

Only about how hot my wedding was, at least around me. And sometimes when he goes on a tirade about something being silly.

I feel your pain bitch!

I think it's more the other way around. You have my sympathies and I'm only missing a fraction of the show. I will be sure to lift a toast of bacon vodka in your honor sir!

Correction: vegan bacon vodka. ;)

I'm pretty sure no bacons were hurt in the making of this vodka. There was a whole town of innocent potatoes murdered though. Sorry...

So it looks like the wedding is at noon. Shouldn't be too much of an interference. More then likely we will be at PAX around 4 or 5PM local time. (I'm also putting this in the OP).
