Alright,
I know that there aren't a ton of Madden players on this site, but I need to put the feelers out this year to see who is picking up Madden `10. This is the first year to introduce a full online franchise mode, allowing 32 players. This is what I've been waiting for and now it's here.
Who's in?

They had me at full online franchise mode.
Compete with up to 31 friends in a true online franchise. Featuring real NFL scheduling, live drafts, player transactions, league message boards, and more – all manageable from your console, remotely from a PC, or via a custom iTunes App. Your Madden NFL 10 online franchise is always just a click away.

Your poll is missing the option to say that this year's game blows chunks. I'd be all over it if they could ever fix the offensive/defensive line issues that have plagued the game for about 5 years.
Oh, and please, please, please get rid of coach's challenges. I'm not really keen on the game intentionally getting a call wrong. Why would anyone want to play a game that they know is going to cheat them?

Online franchise sounds cool, but I usually play Madden offline.

Hmm....this might bring me back to Madden. I'll keep you posted.

You need to watch this weeks Game (http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/25817) Night (http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/25818) at 1up, they seem to have lost their suction cups.

Not based on the demo. The AI line is made up of an All-Madden team while your line is made up of broken marionettes controlled by dead puppeteers. And while you don't see the insane suction blocking like you used to, where a dude turns a full 90 degrees and superglues his testicles to another dude, it's still there. And very obvious.
I've always preferred Madden to the NFL 2K series, and have taken my share of Madden Holidays, but the game has just been terrible for the past 5 years or so. It took me much too long to realize it because of how much I loved it through the 90s.

You work at a fucking video game magazine for fucks sakes!!!!! get a little excited.

I may be interested. I just started a thread on Madden discussion (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?t=11000) since I have the game in my hands and will be hopefully posting more in-game video later on.

I posted this in the Deals Forum (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/showthread.php?p=331371#post331371), but wanted to give a head's up here. Micro Center is offering Madden 10 for $30.

I'm still hesitating on this one. I have 09, and my experience buying Maddens 2 years in a row doesn't exactly get you much bang for the buck. Not so sure even after watching videos...
now at $30? Then it'd be a done deal but no microcenters around here.

I still have NFL 2k5(xbox) and 2k1(dc) on my game shelf, haven't bought a football game since 2k5

I was interested in picking this up, mostly because the last Madden I owned was '95, but the demo really turned me off. Specifically the lack of any instructions or button layout. Apparently the fellas in Maitland must have thought the only people that would download were the people that have been buying it every year for the last few years.

$30!? Bastards!
I really want to pick this up, and might actually venture online with this version, with the more realistic pace and such, but over here I've found nowhere trying to sell it for less than £40, which I'm not sure I can justify right now. Doesn't mean I won't grab it, just means I shouldn't!

Controls have changed greatly since 1995 obviously. They are relatively intuitive once you get the hang of them. The full game has a whole section of the options related to game control at various times (pre-snap, post-snap, running pre-snap/post-snap, etc.).

Last time I played a football videogame it involved LED dashes.

shunoshi, I haven't played a football videogame for years as my sport of choice is hockey. However, I'm always intrigued and interested in online leagues, especially when they include the ability to include AI members as getting a full league of human opponents - and then getting them to play all their games - can be an exercise in futility.
So I'm going to watch this thread and see if interest picks up. If it does, I'd be willing to join.

Wheres the: "I'm buying M10, I play online, but don't want to be in the CoG League" option?

I'm weak and bought it. Let me know if/when you're organizing a league.
EDIT: 360. Sorry for leaving that part out.
