Congressional Hypocrisy, otherwise known as "two terms that are synonymous with one another."

GM and other companies decided to get rid of many of their private jets, (http://jalopnik.com/5100871/gm-to-get-rid-of-their-planes)

after public complaints from Congress regarding their use of such jets when begging for money, (http://jalopnik.com/5093642/congressman-urges-automaker-ceos-to-jetpool-when-heading-to-dc-begging-for-money)

but Congress is spending $200 million on private jets to ferry its members around to beg for support for more money from taxpayers. (http://www.rollcall.com/media/37552-1.html)

I love a good plate of stupid out of Washington, followed by a glass of hypocrisy. Wonderful.

As per your synonymous comment....

.... Hypocrisy in POLITICS?!?!?! Well I never.

Car companies may come and go, but getting rid of governments is a lot more difficult, and as the saying goes 'It doesn't matter what party you vote for, somehow the government always gets in!'

If I was China I'd be asking for my money back and then hiding it in my mattress

I wish I had a job that allowed me to slack on hours, get a six figure income that directly comes from taxpayer money, vote to increase my pay, has indulgent vacation opportunities, and has a 95% percent chance of me not getting fired...ever.

Must be nice.
