Saturday :
9:30pm
Freezepop
Paul And Storm
Johnathan Coulton

So that leaves for Friday a kick ass line up of Anamanaguchi, MC Frontalot and Metroid Metal.

One can only assume Frontalot will headline Friday......right?

Front or Metroid Metal, if they're taking over for The Minibosses this year. I guess we'll see. I was kind of hoping for Front to do his show on Saturday, but Coulton & Paul and Storm works too. I guess I'll see Freezepop too, as I'd like to get close to the stage for these. I hope I won't have to work during the concerts though.

It isn't worth the price to go up in the Space Needle at night. IF you're going to pay the $21 (I'm not joking (http://store.spaceneedle.com/)) to go up there it's a waste of money to go at night, and if you think you'll be slick and go to the restaurant (http://www.spaceneedle.com/restaurant/menu.html) to get the ticket price included with dinner, well they charge quite a bit...

How long do you usually stay over there? I haven't heard Anamanaguchi (did I spell that right?) or Metroid Metal, but I thought MC Frontalot sucked last year. I'd definitely like to do something besides see him front (alot).

However, if Metroid Metal is anything like the Minibosses, they might be worth checking out. The Minibosses were the only band that I really liked last year.

I have minimal interest in that Friday night show. Definitely would like to participate in an alternative activity.

I hear there be pinball machines.

It's also an anti-fitbabits establishment.

If you really want to see Anamanaguchi you have another option at El Corazon on Sunday night.

That sounds good to me. I missed out on Shorty's last year.

Shortys was a blast last year and friday definitely sounds like the day to do it. Shall we get in line for an even larger row of stoplights?

Yeah.

It's not 100% confirmed, but as of this morning it looks like I might not be getting off-island (and back to the states) to be going to this, due to a small plane that is looking to be overfilled.

Hopefully I'll hear more this week; but yeah.

I was looking around on Pollstar and according to them Sunn 0))) will be playing in Seattle on Wedenesday AND Thursday. It's too bad they're not playing PAX. That would be an interesting mix, I think.

You got the dates wrong. You got me excited there for a second and I thought I would have to ditch Blue Skittle for this line-up:

Sunn 0))) quintet
Pelican
Earth
Eagle Twin

Too bad it's in August instead of September.

Ah. Well, I'm glad to know that that's not an issue... not like it would be at this point anyway; but I guess that's what happens when you look into things like that in the wee hours of the day, right?

I can't believe you guys are talking about missing out on a chance to see Metroid Metal. If I could go I'd be all over that! (oh, and I'd be 20 at the time as well, but that doesn't factor into it of course :P)

Wait, people are skipping Frontalot?

I'm just not a fan of his sound. Really, I'm not a fan of any of them enough to sit in the crowd and enjoy them. I really only like P&S and JoCo.

Besides, Sunday night isn't a Shorty's night since I have to catch a flight the next morning at 6am. Saturday is the night of the two acts I actually WANT to see. Thursday is Von's and Blue Skittle, and some who may want to go to Shorty's won't be in until Friday.

And Friday....is the only night I can go. Works pretty well for me.

I'm probably still going. I get to see Front once a year and I'm not missing that.

I don't really care about Anamananananaguchi and Freezepop though.

A super secret plus to being an Enforcer - you often get to hang out with the special guests and musical acts.
