IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=dal) quarterback Tony Romo (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5209) has a broken finger on his throwing hand and could be out for up to four weeks.
Romo, who had started 30 straight regular-season games since replacing Drew Bledsoe (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=393) in 2006, broke his right pinkie on the first play of overtime in a 30-24 loss at Arizona on Sunday, according to a posting on the team's official Web site. The injury will not require surgery, a member of the Cowboys' medical staff told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.
The injury leaves the Cowboys (4-2) with 40-year-old Brad Johnson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=331) as the starter. Johnson, who won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, hasn't started a game since 2006 in Minnesota.

Oh no! Romo is my fantasy league QB. I also have the Cowboys TE. My back-up is Chad Pennington...at least the Dolphins are decent this year.

I hope this doesn't hurt their playoff chances. They should be okay with Johnson for now, right?

Right?

heh. playoffs, right.

We aren't doing dick this year, like every other year. We start strong, and then get our panties in a bunch and fail miserably.

Romo needs some time to work on his ball handling skills anyway, hes always dropping the damn thing.
Maybe the pinkie has been an issue for awhile?

Great news for the Giants!

It does seems odd that he does not just splint it and tie to another finger, like most QBs do. I always knew he was a sissy boy! j/k. Add in Pacman being for the same games plus the Washington rematch and the NFC is looking even more interesting, even after the crappy weekend they had.
