Nothing brightens up a lazy Sunday morning than...hordes of ravening zombies. And controversy, don't forget the controversy. This new footage from Left 4 Dead 2 (http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogforums/tags.php?tag=left+4+dead+2) comes from the San Diego Comic Con. You can clearly see the new Charger boos infected, as well as the good old Tank.
Left 4 Dead 2 is set for a November 17 release on the 360 and PC.

Controversy aside, the more I see of this game, the more I want to play it.

So, do you think that silenced uzi has any kind of gameplay impact on stealth, or they just thought it would be cool looking/sounding?

The silenced uzi did nothing for me, either.

Spitter goo? Some kinda special infected I know nothing about?

My guess is that using the silenced Uzi would attract less of the surrounding zombies.

They just announced the Spitter recently. Her special ability is to spit corrosive acid that acts like napalm.

I'm looking forward to the new special infected and new weapons most of all. But I guess all the new locations are going to be pretty cool as well.

It looks like things are going to get a lot tougher for the Survivors in Versus. I wonder how they'll balance things out.

Cricket bats and hatchets. That makes it even, right?

I see you more as the new Zoey.

And here I thought I was the only one who liked the frying pan. I'll invite the zombies to have some bacon and eggs...play it like Cooking Mama except with zombies as your friends

Zombies don't like Bacon. That's why Zombies must die. Because they don't like Bacon.
Freaking noob.

From a purely strategic standpoint, am I the only one that doesn't see the melee weapons as being useful?

I believe their usefulness will be for when you are attempting to revive a team mate. The axe seems to take out a few zombies at once so... Shoving is okay but isn't fully effective and I like that there will be more than 1 option now for very close fighting.

Obviously you have never served in the Great Frying Pan War of 2007.

Blades don't need reloading! (http://www.amazon.com/Zombie-Survival-Guide-Complete-Protection/dp/1400049628/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1248710852&sr=8-1)

Well there are a few things we don't know yet. If ammo is harder to come by, melee weapons may help alieviate ammo problems. Also instead of just a knockback from the gun butt, they seem to be all one hit kills.
