There's certainly a certain amount of selection bias given I really don't have any interest in living my life on the internets. I post here because... well, why the fuck not? I'm sure there are elements of my persona that get exaggerated, but I find it a little hard to care about how people perceive me on the intertrons.

That said, my friends IN THE REAL WORLDS are relatively used to me pulling stunts like messaging them at 7:00 in the morning demanding explosives and then being agitated when they say no. It's not a daily thing by any stretch, but it happens. Being told that I'm 'trying too hard' by way of basically being myself is fairly amusing.
