Hey guys!
Fresh off my non-paid gig (more on that in the future) doing around 12 pieces for a Mutants and Masterminds sourcebook, I'm getting another job doing pretty much all the interior art for a 4e Book!
From Emerald Green Press....
It's hush-hush at the moment, but I'll post more on it later.

The non-paid gig became a paying gig!
WOOT!
So, here's a link to the gig that paid...if you're into Mutants and Masterminds:

Here's one of the new character designs for a Cold War / Super-Patriots Supplemental.

Freaking awesome preview drawings. I especially like that ape's head and arms.
I'm not very attentive, but does this mean that there's a not-first-party 4th edition rulebook in the works?!

Question: How do you get those outlines so nice and smooth? I use a WACOM tablet in Photoshop and that damned program seems to enjoy blurring/anti-aliasing everything into oblivion.

All jobs are concurrent.
Working on a 4e DnD supplement 'Key of the Fey'
Working on a MnM supplement 'Defcon 1: Cold War Character Pack'
and now, working on 'Book of Villains'
Here's a second copy of the above, with tweaks per the publisher:

As for the smooth lines inking the secret is Adobe Illustrator, a steady hand, and the pen tool.
Illustrator is the boss.

it's all about the vectors if you want smooth lines :) has the added benefit of being scalable to any size too

I ink a lot in Illustrator, too, though it can be more time consuming than traditional methods. If your goal is super crisp and smooth, though, it's hard to do better.

Here's a pic from the Book of Villains, which has several archetypes for Villainous PCs, so consider this to be the pic for the 'Would-Be Despot':

That first one of the new two reminds me of that old Unreal Tournament map that has you jumping around the tops of towers :o

Thanks!
Actually, I'm working on a 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' sized full page thing for Phipps Gaming. It's probably the biggest thing I've ever drawn.
I'm glad you like the stuff. I'll link to the books when they come out.

I draw what the man wants. The purple haired one is supposed to be sort of waifish...so I used the Scarlett Johannsen EW cover with her as Black Widow.
The other robot one is going from 'sort of female' to 'sexless'...
There's one based on Cass from Castlevania Order of Ecclesia that has more curvatures. :)

She seriously has flatass syndrome. Hundreds of skinny ladies a year are diagnosed with this serious ailment every year. Please give, so that these assless women and men are given more 'cushion for the pushing'.

And a fan-ad for the DEFCON Mutants and Masterminds setting, and the supplement I've got some art in 'WARGAMES'. (80s heroes and villains from the old Soviet Union)

How is Hal these days, anyway? I'm an old acquaintance of his. A buddy of mine did some coloring for them a few years back.
