The Weekly Release

With Halloween fast approaching, every media entertainment form needs to take advantage. Whether it's Poltergeist being released on Blu-Ray or Dead Space hitting the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3; everyone wants to scare you this time of year.

Some other notable games this week include FIFA 09 from EA Sports, which hits just about every platform a game can possibly kick off on these days. Also, Sam and Max: Season 1 hits the Wii, a game I highly recommend adventure fans pick up. Finally, open world fans will want to check out Saint's Row 2 for the 360, PS3, and PC. I mean, you can kill guys while wearing a hot dog suit, riding on a motorcycle. Can't get much better than that now can you?

Blu-Ray owners finally get their "Whoa I know Kung Fu" on when the Matrix Trilogy releases on Tuesday. The less than well received Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull can also be found on store shelves, just make sure you have a bag of sand to swap it with.

The first bio movie to hit the big screen while the president is still in office in Oliver Stone's W. comes out Friday - will you be seeing it?

I want to rent Indy this week as I never got a chance to see it in the theater. Of all of the DVD/BR releases, Survivorman: Season 2 is the only one I'd really run out to snag. Les Stroud is just too cool and it's nice to see him doing well south of the border.

Otherwise, it's all about the Dead Space this week. There really isn't anything else on the game release schedule that interests me at all... and yeah, I'm talking about Saint's Row 2 as well. Though that My Japanese Coach for the DS is something I'd like to try... assuming it actually comes out this week... Isn't this the 2nd or 3rd time it has been on the list?
