OK, do I go with the classic look (my PAX08 shirt), or do I get one of those Gamercard t-shirts where people can see my tag, gamerscore, fave games, etc. Or is that something everyone will snicker at?

None of the above. Go naked.

Something comfortable. It's a longass time to stand around if you're wearing fashion over comfort. F' that.

See our CoG shirt contest, those will be there for us if you want. Or just wear anything, trust me, there's no dress code at PAX. Though if you're wearing the CoG logo, we'll be legion. ;)

I wore my Master Chief shirt last year. Someone walked up to me and said, "Hey that's a good shirt, where did you get it?" I told him that I bought it at a gamestop a year ago and he stood there awkwardly staring at me. As if the shirt was just a pretext to talk to me. So, no, do not wear shirts with games you like.

Kidding. Just do what I'm going to do. Grab a stack of shirts off the top of your dresser drawer.

Be sure to wear that one cool T-shirt you have. You know exactly the one I'm talking about, so don't even mess around!

I don't know why, but this comment really cracked me up.

Katslover, I feel like I have to dress to impress now... just for you.

You forgot to mention that that should be the only shirt you wear for 3 days. The smell just makes you that much cooler.

You should make sure to wear a shirt that has Penny Arcade on it somewhere, or is a tribute to whichever band is playing. Its much easier to blend into the crowd when you do this.

They sell merch at PAX, so if you're still not sure, you can buy stuff there.
Also, keep your clothes on at all times. Some smelly dude that was standing in front of me who I don't know decided that he should take his shirt off during Front's set last year. I did not enjoy that at all.

Also, it's a gaming convention, you should totally cosplay!

Ah, come on! You should try NOT to blend in! Start new trends, dredge up old ones that should have died. Me? I'm wearing my polyester orange suit in the hot, hot sun. It's going to be awesome...

Just don't wear socks with sandals or black anklesocks with sneakers.

Sperry topsiders, jams, and a Farrah Fawcett T-shirt ftw.

Frilly outfit? Dude... there are no frills here.

and i quote from dictionary.com:

Adj. 1. frilly - having decorative ruffles or frills

frill (frl) n.
1. A ruffled, gathered, or pleated border or projection, such as a fabric edge used to trim clothing or a curled paper strip for decorating the end of the bone of a piece of meat.
2. A ruff of hair or feathers about the neck of an animal or a bird.
3. A wrinkling of the edge of a photographic film.

and yes, Kirin is great. Especially on the platform, waiting for the train!

If you're looking for style AND comfort, I highly reccomend a Utilikilt. Once you wear one, you will never want to wear pants ever again.

I wouldn't wear a Utilikilt since I have a fine dress kilt of my clan tartan. I don't think I'll be wearing the kilt on the motorcycle.

And since the blades are part of the outfit, I avoid wearing the sgian dubh and dirk anyplace public where there is going to be lots of drinking. I won't make that mistake twice!
