Another Monday...another fun filled week at my internship, writing papers and a way to long drive to classes...hopefully what I played will keep me sane till Friday:
GHIII-I think I liked GHII better...but playing co-op career with Ms. Claus made up for it
Time Hollow- Just started but a really good point and click adventure...if you like these (think Hotel Dusk) it's a must. Thank you again Spigot :)
Lego Batman- Still lots of fun but to much coming out I rather play...goes back to GF
Silent Hill Homecoming: Nada...just never found the time...might have to put this on the backlog
Now i'm just hoping my copy of Dead Space comes from Gamefly...

I started playing Uncharted again, which is something I've been thinking of doing a long time now. And yes, it's still as awesome as it was the first time I played it. I wish there were more games like this. Hopefully the new Tomb Raider game will be good, but I really want more Drake!

Between work I've been trying to make my way through Fallout 2 again, the GOG.com version but unfortunately because of a bug I either start from the beginning again or stop playing. So I stopped playing. Not much gaming for me then.

I played a bit of Dungeon Siege 2, and some Company of Heroes. Mostly I lingered around being lazy on this fine long weekend, but I'm probably going to study all tomorrow.

Ah a Monday thread:D
Played Viva Pinata 2 a fair bit. Love it.
Also went at my first real play trough of Halo 3. (I know. Late to the party, but I never played any Halo game and didn't really feel the need to buy it fuillprice if I didn't know if I would really like it).
I think it was alright, the guys who did the surroundings and vistas should get a medal, The guys who thought that the flood was a good idea should be shot, most boring crap I played in a long while. Overall I enjoyed about half of it, but I don't really get the hype. Too inconsistent on many levels (vehicle handling, audio design needs work for example)

I love the TR franchise and am a fan of Drake too...but I think although they are similar they are different forms of the "adventure/go explore" type game. Although there is gunplay in the TR games, it's not anywhere near as important to the game/gameplay as in Drake. There are other differences but i've derailed the thread long enough :). I just wish I could get more trophies on Drake but most are out of my skills/patience reach :D

Ooops...Hope I didn't do wrong :o. Last week I went looking for a Monday thread...my search didn't turn up anything. I thought I would just throw it up since I was up this to early a.m..
Well at least you played A Halo...I played a demo of Halo once...never looked back. Just not something I am into...
Edit: Ms. Claus is a VP 2 lover...she's looking for friends to exchange pinata's...i'll let her know there is another "gardener" on here :)

Dwarf Fortress! Ah man, it's good to finally have a somewhat decent PC that won't keel over at the first sign of a mathematical operation.

I spent the whole Saturday evening playing a ton of Fifa 09 with a friend. Good times. We also played som NHL 09 and PGR4.

Rock Band II, as always here, with a smattering of Lost Odyssey (Finally on Disk 4. I might be able to finish it! And if it's still in anyone's Gamefly Queue, I'm sorry. My Bad.) and of all things Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup during football commercials. Roguelikes get me caught every now and then.

Yeah, the gameplay is different, but I was thinking more of the overall adventure feeling of both franchises. :)

No man, don't sweat it, I'm not territorial or whatever you call it.
I play VP2 a bit, but my girlfriends the real freak, she can go at it for days. I'll add you to my list night (if you want to off course), they can exchange whatever they want;)

I got in a good amount of both Disgaea 3 and Wild ARMs XF. I'm now about 30 hours into WAXF, almost at the end of the second act. Of four. Yeah, that's a damn long game. With Disgaea, I'm now at the beginning of Chapter 6. I swear, every time I play that game I'm reminded that I need to play it so much more. I need more time. :(

I got about 1 mission of TA2 in... That's all. Busy weekend.

I singlehandedly carried some WAR matches with my amazing healing Zealot, and then played the moving and construct cheap furniture out of pvc games.

Got Alone In The Dark in from Gamefly. It's everything everyone says it is, great ideas hampered by frustrating gameplay.

Played some more Witcher, made it to chapter 5. I'm really trying to finish this one up and clear out my backlog in time for Fable 2.

I killed my 360 on Saturday... half way through White Wedding and *WONK* loud noise, squealing from the DVD drive, dashboard. Now the disc tray keeps ejecting on it's own.
:(
Saturday was a terrible day, but the evening was loads worse. :( I feel like I need a vacation.

I played a fair bit of Crysis. So far I am enjoying it but either I'm not that good at it or it's a really long FPS because my game clock said something like 21 hours last I looked at it. So far it reminds me a lot of Halo 1 for some strange reason. I'm sort of considering picking up Warhead but I hear it has more of the stupid EA DRM BS.

Dead Space! It was in my 360 all weekend, and I'm still not finished.

Little bit of Burnout Paradise Bikes Pack, that is much funner than my first impression gave me. The day night cycle though, I just do not know. I retrieved about 15 stars on SMG, and put a little bit of time into Mega Man 9 as well. I'm loving the Proto man and endless stage dlc. I also played quite a bit of Excite Truck at a friends house on Saturday.
I didn't spend that much time with games this weekend though, I tried to get out of the house. I have developed this nasty habit of ignoring my friends and staying at my house all the time. That wasn't like me until rather recently, so I am making an effort to get back out there and spend time with friends.

I'm thinking of turning Uncharted into a yearly play. Like that Christmas movie you always watch every year or whatever. It's that good.

Played Force Unleashed and made it to the last level - hope to wrap it up this week.
I grabbed it to hold me over till Fable 2, LBP, and Fallout 3. Unfortunately it's only taken me like 4 days to almost beat it!
I have NOTHING in my backlog except R6V2 which I never beat.
Looks like it's going to be a long week :(
Question - Is Heavenly Sword worth the time and $? maybe I can pick it up this week to kill time.

Halo 3 (got to Rank 34 in Lone Wolves!) and Rock Band 2 (working on getting past 150k on Everlong expert drums).

I've actually been playing Puzzle Quest again on the PSP. That's about it though. But I have been tempted by WoW the last few weeks.

Depends on how much you can snag it for. $20 or lower it's worth it. It's not that long either...a great game to tide you over...

Not a thing. My dad's appendix ruptured last Friday, so I was at the hospital most of the weekend watching him have antibiotics pumped into him to keep the infection from spreading. Good news is he had surgery to remove the infection this morning and should be fine in a few days :)

Didn't get a lot of gaming in on the weekend due to Thanksgiving obligations and running around.
What I did get into though, was lots of NHL09 (360), a wee bit of TF2 (PC) and some Dwarf Fortress (PC) running in the background when I was doing some coding. Good times, just not as great a gaming weekend as I really needed :(

Not much. Killed a few gang bosses in Crackdown and some Puzzle Quest! Dull weekend gaming-wise, but had a lot of fun with friends.

I actually got to play The Witcher for a few hours on Sunday. Also, Deus Ex was re-installed but not really played. Next weekend will probably see a lot of Deus Ex. Instead of gaming my brother and I actually spent a good chunk of Saturday at the air show that was in town this weekend.

Thanks Jay,
He should be ok now that they got the majority of the infection out. He has to go back in Dec to actually have his appendix removed.
Just hope he gets out soon. He is miserable in there.
Saturday I played some Tales of Vesperia and then watched one hell of a ALCS game Saturday night. Sunday I was pretty much useless and dozed on the couch all day.
One thing I have learned about myself is I prefer long RPG's on handhelds vs consoles. It's much more convenient to play them while I am multi-tasking.

I had a ADHD weekend of gaming. A little LBP beta, a drop of CoD4, a smattering of Fifa 09, a cup of Gears and a jug of CoD:WaW beta.
aVaKus: I and the wife wish a speedy recovery for your dad. My wife went through the same thing when she was a young lass. Not fun, she says.

WAR, brought it on Friday despite the fact i knew i had lots of work to do... none of which i've done... stupid thing... i blame my freinds for bullying me in to it... yup... not my fault at all.
In fact mondays are 'freedays' with my uni course and i should have got some work done today but i've been playing WAR again... it's been a good long time since anything other than wow has gotten me as addicted. But i will do work tonight or tomorrow... yup...

Let's see...the 360 has been shipped off so I don't have my main source of gaming. I played one level on Jeanne D'Arc (needing to grind a bit). That is it. It was a very inebriated weekend, to be honest.
Oh wait, I did play some NCAA 09 at a friend's.

I played a few more rounds of Audio-surf, some BG:DA II w/ the wife. I think I even loaded up Peggle.
I couldn't figure out what I wanted to play so I sat around staring at my steam games list for quite some time lol.

I had a ton of convention work to attend to this weekend, but I got some time with Crysis Wars and a little Mount & Blade action in on Friday.
Really, I'm just really waiting for Fallout 3 to drop. I've been waiting years for that. :)

Played Animal Crossing DS (gotta kill the frikkin weeds, ya know) and some Wii Fit. My cat had a fang that was rather more horizontal than usual so we were in crisis mode getting her to the Emergency Vet. Good times...good times.

I beat the Rock Band hall of fame Sunday morning at 5:00am with me drumming and my bro on guitar. Sadly our girlfriends doze off. Pfft, light weights.
Anywho, I also created a new drink that night elegantly named Watered Down Piss. For you people following along at home that's:
2 ounces Sambuca
2 ounces Disaronno
splash of lemon juice
6 ounces Sierra Mist/Sprite

What's wrong with the audio design in Halo 3? I thought it was excellent.
