I looked around and didn't find these posted anywhere, so don't kill me if they are, but I feel like these vids are deserving of their own thread.

Anyone else have any cool stop motion vids to post?

I thought it was going to be a stop-motion animation made with string and thread.
Edit: Both of these are excellent!

Deadline looks like it took forever to set up but turned out really well. Reminds me of this (http://www.kloonigames.com/blog/games/post_it).
This is a commercial, but it's cool nonetheless:

The Brother's Quay. Some of the earliest pioneering stop-motion artists. Heavily inspired the early Tool music videos. If you were take a class in stop-motion, these guys would be required viewing.

Wolf and pig has definitely been posted before, but it's worth posting again as it is so awesome. And props to Mr.Murphy for posting the Quay Brothers.

Tried to find the old videos Lon Lon Rabbit made about GrinR, but I don't know if they still exist on Youtube.

I have no idea what's going on in this vid, but it's well done.
And what the fuck does salsa, an armless dude with a sombrero, and a headless dude with a broom have to do with Queen?

How in the heck is this not the first post or reply regarding anything with this type of animation? I hear stop-motion and BOOM! Harryhausen immediately comes to mind, be it this or Clash Of The Titans (but moreso this, due to the badass skeleton warriors).

I miss when MTV used to air stuff like this:

(Henry Selick went on to make Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. And The Residents did the music for this.)

The movie is cheesy (AWESOME) as "all get-out", but It won a saturn award for it's excellent stop motion effects on a very low budget.

ahh, it's been a while, I forget that Prison Sex isn't the only track to have a video from that album.
Also, the Wall painting video was pretty damn epic.

Stinkfist is still my favorite though not stop motion.

This is, by far, my favorite in the thread so far. Everyone to whom I show it is enchanted.
Here's a trailer for a stop-motion film the Mrs and I saw at the French embassy.

I can't recall if I saw this here, or elsewhere, but it was brilliant enough to warrant (re)posting anyway. Caution to those of a squeamish inclination. :p

That MUTO video was one of the coolest I've seen.
Also, had seen the video for Sober long ago before I got into Tool (I used to think they were just angsty rock, rather than prog, and really interesting) and thought it was at least the best thing about it. I changed my tune!
This isn't entirely stop motion, but has a large amount of it, and I think makes for a really cool video. And I really dig the track... Subtle - Mercury Craze (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5HVRe7UDuc). A number of their other videos were done by the same gruop as well.
