I don't know if anyone's mentioned the show, b/c quite honestly, I haven't posted anything in quite some time nor have I seen anyone else mention it. But, it a great show. Freakishly hilarious. I'm a sucker for British comedy and this is quite out there. The show's actually a few years old and has quite a following. Regardless, it's great to see it over here. Hopefully, the creators will bring it back officially.

Anyway, the show airs on Adult Swim on Sundays @ midnight (which is technically Monday morning). Catch it, get back to me. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, for bonus points, the next one is the infamous Old Gregg episode (my avatar). Definitely top 5 for the show. Enjoy! :D

The Mighty Boosh is indeed awesome. It's nice that it's getting some widespread exposure in the US finally! I got into it when it was on BBC America. The commercials looked really stupid but I caught an episode one night and liked it. Now on AS it has a whole new audience.

I really like The Mighty Boosh. It's blend of comedy and music is cool and unique in it's execution. My friends showed me a clip of The Legend of Old Gregg a few months before the show started airing in America, though they didn't know where it came from (I looked it up for myself). I was pretty surprised to see it imported by Adult Swim, but I guess it makes sense, since they already imported Look Around You.

I think Bainbridge singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was what made me think the show was funny, but the Tundra Rap was what sealed the deal. I always liked the bigger musical setpieces more than the crimping.

Like Little Britain, where people find the humour in Mighty Boosh escapes me. Again, like Little Britain (and pretty much all BritCom stuff) any humour actually in the show dies quickly from people quoting it repeatedly.

Really, the best comedy BBC are putting out these days are their panel shows, QI, Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week though the last two are very topical and UK-centric.

Well don't live in Britain...

I got wind this (http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Boosh-Special-DVD-Seasons/dp/B002BVUBK0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1250564613&sr=8-1) was coming out soon. Cheaper for the set.

Ladies & gentlemen, mark October 13th on your respective calendars. Can't wait!

Whoa! I had no idea The Mighty Boosh had made it to these shores. Serves me right for not having TV in nearly a decade. If you can find it, my favorite British sitcom ever (other than The Young Ones) is Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. If you can find it...I can't express how brilliant it is. I know it has connections to TMB too.

Amen. This was the first thing I caught Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry in, both of which have now perfected their characters in The IT Crowd, and both of which also have parts in The Boosh. Some of the best things to happen to British/Irish comedy since Father Ted.
