Is this Windows 7-compatible?

I don't see Windows 7 support/compatibility explicitly mentioned but I do see people on those forums who are using it on Windows 7, FWIW.

Oh wait, from this thread: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=744904

"I use Windows 7 build 7000 x86 and PS3 Media Server, works fine. "

and this:

"All versions of Windows 7 I've tried work fine with PS3MS."

Yeah, I'm playing with it right now. I had to add an exception to my firewall to get it to communicate with my PS3, but so far it works well.

Yes, sir. Go outside now before you undo it. :)

Work better than something like TVersity? That's what I've been using and haven't had any issues with it.

I have simply been using WMP, which has only failed me once so far. Sounds like this works well, so I still may check it out.

I've been using PS3 Server since I got my PS3 back in February and it works fine. I've used it in Windows 7 beta 32 bit, XP, and Windows 7 RC1 64 bit with no troubles.

I just use Windows Media Sharing in 7. I tried TVersity, but only for the promised Hulu support, and it sucked at that, so I uninstalled it.

I tried it out, and it's not bad...too bad my wireless for the PS3 sucks ass. Kept getting Network errors...I've never had good experience with wireless PS3, and going wired is kind of not an option right now.

If you're using wireless you need to cap the bandwidth on the mediaserver side, regardless of what mediaserver you're using.
