I tease EA because, right now at least, I love 'em. Amidst the complaints about the analogue stick punch scheme they announced that they'll be releasing DLC that adds the face button controls by the beginning of September... for free.

But wait there's more! There's a second piece pf DLC incoming--or rather a first piece as it's slated for early August. It will contain a new gym, sliders, and other equipment to customize your boxer, along with a Pizza Hut sponsored Sugar Ray (for X360 owners). This one will cost you... nothing. It's free, too. What's going on here?

September..September? Really? Takes 2 months to code remapping buttons?? Sheesh.

The ghosts of EA's past visit them or something? Whatever the reason, it's a nice trend.

The first response just HAD to be someone bitching about more free stuff, didn't it that they said would never make it as DLC.

Free stuff is great, but free stuff that should have been in the game day one, not so much. Me bitching about 2 months for BUTTON MAPPING is totally warranted. The total control punching shit sucks. Got a blister on my thumb from that asstastic control scheme.

After playing the lackluster demo and not liking the "feel" of the game, I went to goozex and grabbed FFR3 for 300 points and am ultimately much happier than I would have been shelling out $60 for the 4th iteration.

It feels like they took a step backwards with this one.

I rented it, got a few achievements and sent it back.

Shhh, let the console guys have their moment. :D

I like Fight Night 4, but it's still way too easy to win by just randomly mashing the thumb stick any which way.
