For those who might be interested, this has been announced for North America by NIS America. (Siliconera (http://www.siliconera.com/2009/07/06/atelier-annie-officially-announced-for-north-america/))

Atelier Annie will be the first Atelier game on the DS in North America since NIS America will not be publishing Atelier Lise. In Atelier Annie you have three (game time) years to build a resort, which makes this game a unique mix of a Club Med sim and an alchemy RPG.
